Parklands Retirement Haven

We are excited because we have started our second retirement Village and we want it to be as good as the first.

Our first retirement Village is Torbay Aged Care and Retirement Village in Torquay, Hervey Bay.

Torbay–Torquay is now 30 years young and is home to nearly 400 people at all stages of their retired life. It is a Village that retired people from all walks of life call home.

Our new retirement village is Parklands Retirement Haven in Urangan, Hervey Bay.  Hervey Bay is such a wonderful area that we could not find a better location so we built it here.

Parklands Retirement Haven—‘Torbay–Parklands’— is in the first stage of its development.  Stages 1 and 2 have been constructed and Stage 3 is well advanced in its planning. Torbay–Parklands  currently consists of a two-storey 48-place aged care Home with 14 independent living units (most of which will be stand-alone villas), all set in 2 hectares of landscaped gardens. It is located on the eastern end of Hervey Bay and is close to the Urangan Boat Harbour and Boat Club.  Torbay–Parklands is set in a natural bushland area and we have retained nearly 2 hectares as bushlands.  The adjoining block is not developed and the kangaroos and wildlife abound.

Torbay–Parklands is in the first stage of its development.  When all stages will have been completed it is planned to consist of 150 aged care places and 130 independent living units.

Torbay–Parklands currently has coverage by Registered Nurses except at night when a registered nurse is on call from Torbay–Torquay (2km distance). The RN is supported by Enrolled Nurses and Personal Carers. Our qualified Diversional Therapist (Activity Staff) puts liveliness into Torbay–Parklands and will keep you smiling and active. Our chefs at The Village Caterer provide healthy scrumptious meals. They can cater for all your dietary needs. Our support staff (Kitchen, Domestic, Maintenance, Garden, Office and Laundry) all contribute to making your life easier at Parklands.
