TORBAY operates aged care Homes in each of its Villages in Hervey Bay in Queensland:
- Torbay Aged Care and Retirement Village, Torquay (‘Torbay–Torquay’)
- Parklands Retirement Haven, Urangan (‘Torbay–Parklands’)
Our aged care Homes in these two Villages provide comfortable accommodation and secure surroundings with around-the-clock care.
Appetising, varied and nutritious food is a big part of keeping our residents fit and healthy. The meals we provide are cooked/prepared by our chefs from The Village Caterer to the strictest standards and regulations. All special dietary needs are catered for.
Life is meant to be lived, so our activities program is very full. Our programs are modified to suit our residents’ needs and requests but they generally include newspaper reading, concerts, bus trips, bowls, craft, art classes, computer classes, quiz hour, happy hours and other group activities as well as sing-a-long, choir practice, Men’s Shed group, board games, exercise and much more. You can choose to participate in as many or as few activities as you like.
